COUNTERACT® RETAIN combines multiple advanced polymers to achieve moisture infiltration with elevated moisture holding capacity to help increase volumetric moisture content in turfgrass soils. COUNTERACT® RETAIN was developed to address both the symptoms and direct causes of soil water repellency.

Directions and Usage:
COUNTERACT® RETAIN is readily soluble in water and can be applied with conventional application equipment. For best results, apply COUNTERACT® RETAIN early in the season prior to the onset of stress. The number of applications required is directly related to the length of the growing season, as well as environmental and geographic conditions. Refer to the use rate table below for specific application information or consult with your sales representative for a recommendation specific to your area.
Greens, Tees, Fairways, Sports Turf, and Other Turf
Rate: 6 - 9 fl. oz. / 1,000 ft2 (2 – 3 gallons / acre) or 200 – 300 mL / 100 m2 (20 – 30 L / hectare)
Application Instructions: Apply every 14 – 28 days before the onset of water repellency. Use higher rate for wider spray intervals or when drought conditions are severe.
*Use sufficient water for good coverage (2 gallons / 1000 ft2 or 90 gallons / acre) during application. Apply sufficient irrigation water after application to remove COUNTERACT® RETAIN from leaf surfaces.
