A granulated micronutrient fertilizer designed to enhance turf and ornamental plants
Veskar™ is a granular micronutrient supplement which has been processed into granules that spread uniformly and readily breakdown upon hydration from overhead irrigation water. The zero nitrogen and micronutrients, such as iron and manganese, in Veskar™ will improve turf color without promoting excessive growth. Veskar™ also contains soluble silicon which is a plant beneficial substance that has been shown to improve cell wall thickness in plants. ALSO CONTAINS NONPLANT FOOD INGREDIENT: Beneficial Substance 2% Soluble Silicon (Si) (Derived from agricultural slag) Purpose: Silicon has been shown to improve cell wall thickness in plants.

VESKAR™ is a granular micronutrient supplement derived from agricultural slag which has been processed into granules that readily breakdown upon hydration from overhead irrigation water. To avoid mower pickup of granules on close-cut turf (sports fields and golf course tees / approaches), water-in with approximately 0.25 inches of irrigation water or sufficient rainfall after application.
Use Rates:
Turf
Initial Application: 10 - 20 (Lbs./1,000 ft2), 435-870 (Lbs./acre)
Recurring Applications: 5-10 (Lbs./1,000 ft2), 220-440 (Lbs./acre)
For reoccurring applications, apply VESKAR™ every 30 – 60 days throughout the season while the turf is actively growing. Always irrigate thoroughly after application to allow the granules to dissolve completely.
Landscape & Ornamental
Herbaceous Plants, Shrubs and Trees: 0.5 - 2 lbs. / 100ft* (Rate)
*For ornamental plants, incorporate 1-2 lbs. / 100 ft2 into the top 4 inches of topsoil prior to planting. For maintenance applications, apply 0.5 lbs. around base of ornamental plants in the Spring and Fall and water in to dissolve granules.
*For trees and shrubs, apply 0.5 – 1 lbs. for each inch of trunk diameter and distribute from base to dripline as evenly as possible. Use higher rate for larger / more mature trees. Always irrigate thoroughly after application to dissolve granules.
